Global ARMY Gathers in Seoul for BTS Comeback, Expresses Gratitude for Fan Outreach

Elaine, 29, who arrived in Korea days ago to attend BTS's comeback concert "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG," spoke while waiting in line at Gwanghwamun Square on June 21. "I couldn't get tickets, so I came to Gwanghwamun early this morning with friends to secure a good spot," she said. "We found a place in front of the large screen." Despite passing through metal detectors and security checkpoints since morning, she said she was fine sitting in a Korean-style folding chair she had prepared in advance. Her friend Judy, whom she befriended through BTS fandom activities, said, "I've listened to all the songs on the 'ARIRANG' album. The title track 'Swim' is amazing, and the arirang part in 'Body to Body' felt incredibly fresh. I feel like I've learned more about Korea through the 'ARIRANG' album."

Female ARMY members in their 30s from Canada said, "We're so excited for the BTS concert. We've already listened to all the new songs released yesterday and we're ready to sing along. We can't wait to see what songs they'll perform today." They smiled brightly while showing their ARMY bombs and fans bearing the members' names that they had prepared in advance.
