Choa Pharmaceutical (034940) announced on the 4th that it will export liver activator 'Hepatos Syrup' and venous-lymphatic circulation disorder treatment 'Elas-A Solution' to Guatemala. Both products are over-the-counter drugs, marking the company's first overseas export of these items.
The company recently completed product registration approval from Guatemala's health authorities and plans to ship the initial batch within this month.
Hepatos Syrup and Elas-A Solution will be sold at pharmacies based on prescriptions from local hospitals. The company noted this is significant as it represents entry into a distribution structure centered on physician prescriptions, beyond simple OTC drug distribution.
Choa Pharmaceutical plans to accelerate its expansion into the Latin American market with this export. The company expects that entering the Guatemalan market will increase brand awareness and establish a foundation for global sales.
