BTS will sing about love for life and determination to keep moving forward in their fifth studio album "Arirang," set for release on June 20.
The group unveiled the 14-track tracklist on their official social media accounts on Wednesday. The album includes title track "Swim" along with "Body to Body," "Hooligan," "Aliens," "FYA," and "2.0."
"The new album encompasses BTS's identity and the emotions accumulated throughout their journey," BigHit Music said. "BTS held songwriting sessions in Los Angeles last summer, working with star producers including Diplo, Ryan Tedder, and El Guincho."
"Swim" is an upbeat alternative pop track about persisting through life's waves. RM participated in writing the lyrics, expressing the resolve to move forward at one's own pace rather than fighting against the current, framed as "love for life."
Opening track "Body to Body" celebrates performing with concert audiences. "Hooligan" reflects on the group's globe-trotting journey as trailblazers, while "Aliens" conveys their aspirations for the world. "2.0" captures the seven members' current chapter.
"No.29" and "Merry Go Round" address enduring life's repetitive cycles. "NORMAL" expresses emotions felt on and off stage.

"Like Animals" conveys the passion to live intensely. "They don't know 'bout us" delivers a confident message: "We're just being ourselves."
"One More Night" captures the desire to linger in euphoric moments. "Please" honestly expresses wanting to stay together regardless of circumstances.
The album closes with "Into the Sun," a confession about running toward someone.
BTS will hold a free comeback concert "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE|ARIRANG" at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on June 21, the day after the album release. Netflix will livestream the event to approximately 190 countries.
This marks the group's first studio album in three years and nine months.
