Lotte Resort announced on March 2 that it will offer a limited suite room package exclusively on March 14 for White Day. The company is targeting commemorative occasion demand with ocean-view rooms at its Sokcho property and private pool rooms at its Gimhae location.
The "Luxe Special Day" package is available only to guests staying on that date. Room types and amenities have been differentiated to reflect each location's characteristics.
Lotte Resort Sokcho offers a one-night stay in a Superior Suite, leveraging the property's all-ocean-view rooms. The package includes a set of two Swarovski champagne glasses and one bottle of Pasqua Frizzante Dolce Sweet Rosé. The package is designed for in-room stays with East Sea views.
Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae built its package around the "Pool Suite" room featuring garden views. Guests can enjoy a private spa within the room, with one bottle of Conte Fosco Cuvée Brut and Bacha Coffee drip bags (12-pack) included.
Both properties offer bath salts and one-hour late checkout as common benefits. The strategy appears aimed at extending commemorative stay duration to boost room satisfaction.
The Gimhae property features amenities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, and screen golf facilities. Proximity to nearby outlets and a water park is also cited as an advantage.
The resort industry has recently been expanding room upgrade products and wine-dining combination packages for commemorative seasons such as Valentine's Day and White Day. Analysts say this strategy centers on high-priced suite rooms to simultaneously boost occupancy rates and average spending per guest.
A Lotte Resort marketing official said, "This package allows guests to spend a romantic anniversary while viewing the blue sea of Sokcho or the expansive gardens of Gimhae." The official added, "We hope couples can escape urban noise and enjoy complete relaxation in our suite rooms."
