Singer-songwriter Han Roro's novel "Jamong Salgu Club" claimed the top spot on Kyobo Book Centre's overall bestseller rankings for the fourth week of February. The book rose to first place seven months after publication, riding the popularity of the album of the same name.
This marks the first time a musician's novel has topped the overall rankings since Tablo's short story collection "Pieces of You" in 2008. Unlike typical photo books or essays by entertainers, Han Roro's work is a full-fledged novel.

Cho Hyun-sun's "My Perfect Funeral" climbed two spots from last week to fifth place, gaining momentum through word-of-mouth on social media. The novel "Pavane for a Dead Princess" surged 28 places to 23rd following the release of a Netflix film adaptation.
