Jeju Olle Foundation (CEO Ahn Eun-ju) announced on the 27th that it is recruiting participants on a first-come, first-served basis for its 2026 "Leadership on the Trail" program.
"Leadership on the Trail" is Korea's first trekking-based leadership training course, designed for prominent figures and leaders from various fields to walk the Olle trails together, experience diverse programs, and gain life wisdom and business inspiration.
The program was created to provide executives and managers exposed to extreme work stress in competitive environments with time for healing and recovery in nature, helping them maintain healthy bodies and minds. Since its launch in 2022, the program has run 13 sessions through 2025, with 201 cumulative participants. Among them, 30 leaders have participated more than once.

Executives from companies including Maeil Dairies Co., SECUI Corp., LG Uplus Corp., Octa Solution Co., and Korea Prepaid Card Co. have participated in rotating cohorts, utilizing the program as a networking and mentoring platform beneficial to their management.
The 2026 program will operate twice annually—in April and November—with each session lasting three nights and four days, the same format as 2025. The first-half session runs from April 1 to 4 along Jeju Olle Routes 7, 8, and 12. Participants will attend humanities lectures by prominent figures from various fields and experience walking meditation and sensory-stimulating programs on Olle trail courses featuring different seasonal landscapes. Special programs linked to Jeju Olle's international sister trails are also planned within the year.
Lecturers include Suh Myung-sook, Chairperson of Jeju Olle Foundation; Park Yong-maan, former Chairman of Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Lee Byung-nam, former President of LG Academy; and Lee Doo-hun, singer from the group Five Fingers. Programs highlighting local character will also be offered, including the Ganse premium Charong lunchbox experience, Discover Jeju's coffee omakase, and forest trail interpreter tours.

Kim Woong-bae, Dean of Coaching College at LG Academy, who participated in the 13th session in 2025, shared his thoughts: "For the first time in a while, I was able to stop my busy daily routine and take time to fill my heart and soul. It was a time to newly confront the meaning of life and the essence of leadership while walking together."
Corporate, institutional, and professional management leaders wishing to participate can apply online through the "Special Travel" section on the Jeju Olle Trip website, Jeju Olle's official travel agency.
Ahn Eun-ju, CEO of Jeju Olle, stated: "The 'Leadership on the Trail' program is an opportunity for self-reflection where participants share new leadership based on walking the Olle trails. I hope that relational leadership and coexistence leadership gained through communion with nature will lead to sustainable outcomes for the happiness of participants and their organizations."
