Ticket sales for live viewing screenings of BTS's world tour in theaters begin today.
BTS will open ticket reservations for live viewing of their April 11 Goyang and April 18 Tokyo concerts at 10 a.m. on March 25 through the websites and applications of major multiplex chains CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. Live viewing is a broadcast service where audiences gather in one location to watch concerts or sports events together.
The live viewing will be held in approximately 3,800 theaters across 80 countries and regions worldwide. Some regions will receive delayed broadcasts to accommodate time differences. Global interest is high as fans can experience both the Goyang concert, which opens the world tour "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG,'" and the Tokyo concert, which marks the start of the global schedule. Beginning with these two cities, additional concerts are expected to be added to the live viewing lineup.
BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour spanning 82 shows across 34 cities, starting with performances at Goyang Stadium from April 9-11. Prior to the tour, the group will release their fifth studio album "ARIRANG" at 1 p.m. on March 20. The new album contains 14 tracks showcasing "BTS as they are now."
