
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced it will welcome the Korean national team returning from the 2026 Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics at the arrival hall on the first floor of Terminal 2 at Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 24th.
The welcome ceremony, organized by the Ministry and the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, will be attended by KSOC President Yoo Seung-min, Chef de Mission Lee Soo-kyung, and athletes from short track speed skating, figure skating, and speed skating returning with the main delegation. Minister Choi Hwi-young will personally attend to present bouquets to the athletes, expressing encouragement and gratitude for the passion and fighting spirit they demonstrated at the Games. Chef de Mission Lee Soo-kyung will report on the team's performance at the competition.
Minister Choi said, "I am deeply grateful to all the coaches and officials who worked hard to ensure our athletes could safely complete the Games and return home. The Ministry will continue to do its utmost to support athletes so they can train in better environments and stand proudly on the world stage."
