Singer G-Dragon has officially announced a comeback for his group BIGBANG to mark the group's 20th debut anniversary.
According to his agency Galaxy Corporation on the 9th, G-Dragon made the announcement during his first solo fan meeting held at KSPO Dome (Gymnastics Arena) in Olympic Park, Seoul, from the 6th to 8th.
"BIGBANG will make a 20th anniversary comeback this year," G-Dragon said. "As both a member and a fan, I'm looking forward to it, and I believe all the members feel the same way."
He added, "Spring is coming soon, so please wait while taking a rest along the flower path."
The three-day fan meeting drew approximately 40,000 fans. The audience spanned different generations, from newly converted teenage fans to longtime supporters who experienced BIGBANG's peak years.
G-Dragon performed on a 360-degree open stage, delivering tracks including "Boy," "Who You?," and "TAKE ME."
The event featured various segments including Q&A sessions with fans and gift presentations.
"I wanted to create a family gathering-like event for those who couldn't join the tour after failing to secure tickets," G-Dragon said. "It was like a wish list come true, and it was more enjoyable because we were together. I love you."
G-Dragon will continue his fan meeting tour in Yokohama, Japan, from the 13th to 15th, followed by Bangkok, Thailand, on the 21st and 22nd.
