BTS will open ticket reservations on Feb. 23 for "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG," a free concert celebrating the release of their fifth studio album "ARIRANG" at 8 p.m. on March 21.
The group announced ticket purchase and application details through fan platform Weverse at midnight on Feb. 9.
Ticket reservations are divided into two categories: general free tickets and a Weverse global lottery for paid ARMY (fandom name) membership holders.
General free ticket reservations will begin at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23 through NOL Ticket, open to anyone without conditions. Detailed reservation instructions will be available on Weverse and NOL Ticket at noon on Feb. 20.
The Weverse global lottery for ARMY members will award tickets through a drawing among Weverse membership subscribers who purchase the fifth studio album during the application period. Further details will be announced on Weverse on Feb. 10.
Agency Big Hit Music said, "As this comeback live is a free concert, it is expected to provide citizens an opportunity to naturally experience music and culture in their daily lives."
The concert will also be livestreamed to approximately 190 countries and regions through a partnership with streaming service Netflix. This marks Netflix's first-ever livestream of a solo artist's concert.
BTS will release their fifth studio album "ARIRANG" on March 20, the day before the concert. From the album release date through April 12, offline events titled "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL" will be held throughout Seoul.
