Ace Bed (003800.KS) conducted a coal briquette delivery volunteer activity with actor Park Bo-gum, science YouTuber궤도 (Orbit), and singer Sean.
Ace Bed delivered a donation of 100 million won to Bapsang Community Briquette Bank, a social welfare corporation, at a donation ceremony held in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul on the 23rd.
The donation is enough to provide more than 110,000 coal briquettes and will be used to support the livelihoods of elderly people and vulnerable groups who rely on briquette heating to get through winter.
The Ace Bed volunteer team, consisting of approximately 50 members, conducted a volunteer activity distributing 2,000 briquettes in the Sanggye-dong area after the donation ceremony. Actor Park Bo-gum, Ace Bed's brand model, along with궤도 and Sean, participated at the site, adding meaning to the sharing event. The three reportedly created a warm atmosphere by naturally mingling with employees while participating in the volunteer work.
Ace Bed has been continuing its coal briquette sponsorship and sharing volunteer activities every winter. The first activity began in 2023 when dedicated employees and dealers voluntarily formed a volunteer team following CEO Ahn Sung-ho's proposal to "practice the value of coexistence especially during difficult times." The cumulative number of donated briquettes has exceeded 340,000 to date.
